April 18, 2008: Due to a medical
emergency, we have had to stop production for the time being.
All completed orders have been shipped and all customers with orders
pending have been contacted. A date for delivery of those pending orders
will be determined later.
You may still order products on the site. However, please keep in mind

In all crafts, when
one refers to "generations" it is generally inferred as a time honored
tradition. The primary loom we use today continues an over 100 year
tradition of pride, that started when the J.L. Hammett Company first
manufactured the loom.
Our technique is founded in the mountains of North Carolina, and is
rooted in the booming textile industry of South Carolina.
My side of the family brings over 145 years of textile background to
our product, while my wife’s side brings the artistic flair of over 30
years of stenciling and painting on woven products, thus we can actually
testify to the name of Generations.
Locally, we're involved in the education and support of the special
needs population, and our public school system.
It's a tradition of hard work that we're proud to be a part of, and we
hope you will be to as you pass our long-lasting products down from one
generation to the next.
Sincerely,

Leigh Hammett
